A woman suffered face and head injuries when she was attacked and robbed at Waterloo.The 23-year-old victim, her partner and two other women were walking on Wakefield Road when they were confronted by the gang near Greenside Launderette at midnight on Saturday. They carried on walking, but minutes later the gang attacked the The Earrings couple. The other two women managed to escape. The attacked woman suffered a cut and bump to her forward, discount abercrombie a nose injury and grazed elbows. A girl stole the victim's handbag. The gang then fled towards Almondbury. Det Con Russ Conlon, of Kirklees CID intelligence unit, said: "This was a nasty robbery close to a main road so we hope other people saw what happened." The main attacker was a girl in her mid teens with black hair tied up. Another was a mixed race girl, around 5ft 3ins tall and she wore a red jacket. At least three white youths were also involved.
